Text Box: Please Note: As with prop hire from most companies, the props and set cannot be provided with risk assessments as we cannot guarantee the activities that each individual society will use them for. They will however be provided with a check sheet stating the date of manufacture and the construction materials. (Under the criminal justice bill (notes 36-39), weapons use is now restricted unless in the presence of a competent trained person and with the use of a certified weapons storage case. As a consequence we cannot provide weapons due to the necessity to transport them which would contravene the legislation). References to “we”, “us” or “our” are to HTS and references to “you” or “your” are to the Client and other defined words are as defined in the complete terms and conditions at the bottom of the page. Installation 1. The contract is finalised when we send an acknowledgement to you. Prices or quotations are inclusive of VAT and do not constitute an offer by us to you until we have confirmed in our acknowledgement that our price is final. 2. You must provide us with sufficient time and access, as advised by us, to perform the Installation services. 3. You are responsible for acquiring any necessary permission, consents or licences to allow us to perform the Installation Services and we will assess the Venue for suitability and if we deem the venue is unsuitable for our Installation Services our decision will be final. 4. We may charge you if you extend or alter timings of your event or change the Venue for which the quotation was originally provided. 5. We must receive full payment from you on receipt of the installation Services or upon collection, unless previously agreed in writing and you must pay full fee in the event of cancellation or postponement by you. 6. We will use our artistic licence and interpretation in performing the Installation Services and we may provide a substitute if Props/set and Services are unavailable. Please note that any dimensions supplied for Props/set and Services are approximate only. 7. Our collection or delivery note is final and conclusive evidence of collection by or delivery to you. 8. The Props/set may only be used indoors unless we agree otherwise. 9. You must insure the Props/set from despatch/ delivery by us until such Props/set are received back by us. 10. You are responsible for health and safety relating to Props/set and Services at the Venue. 11. You must pay for all losses, damage and any cleaning costs in full and these sums will be charged to you via invoice. 12. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss. Any liability is limited to a refund for the element for which that liability arises only. Hire 1. Props/set and set are hired to one location only. If you wish to take the Props/set to a separate location this will constitute a separate hire and you will be charged accordingly. 2. We may require you to pay a deposit for the Props/set and/or set, which will be determined by us and will be retained by us in the event of loss or damage to the Props/set. 3. You are responsible for acquiring any necessary permission and consents in respect of the use of the Props/set and ensuring the Props/set/set are stored and used in accordance with all laws and regulations. Please keep Props/set away from heat sources as some Props/set may be flammable. 4. Our Props/set may have signs of wear and tear and are supplied “as seen”. You may inspect the Props/set/set prior to placing your order by providing us with reasonable notice and at a time agreed by us. 5. We may supply a reasonable substitute for Props/set in the event of unavailability. 6. If we agree to deliver and/ or collect: 6.1 We will deliver to and collect from ground floor loading bay unless we agree otherwise; and 6.2 Only one delivery person will be provided. You may be required to assist with the off loading and uploading of Props/set/set. You will be liable for any damage caused by you whilst you load the Props/set. 7. If you are not present for delivery and/or collection, our collection or delivery note is final and conclusive evidence of the amount of Props/set/set and quality of the Props/set/set collected or delivered. If you are arranging collection or return, suitable transport must be provided. We will refuse to release Props/set to unsuitable transport. 8. You must test electrical Props/set before use and only use electrical Props/set in conjunction with a Residual Current Device (RCD). 9. Props/set must only be used indoors unless we agree otherwise. 10. You must insure the Props/set from despatch/ delivery by us until such Props/set are received back by us. 11. You must pay for all losses and damage in full and these sums will be charged to you via invoice. 12. Title in the Props/set shall remain with us at all times. 13. Props/set must be returned and repackaged in same condition as they were received. 14. Our hire charge is payable even if the Props/set are returned unused and Props/set not returned by the due date, advised to you by us, will be charged at our standard daily rates.
