The HTS crew is made up of volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds, we all have one common interest—set design and building. Each member is involved in the design and construction of the sets and props you can view on our website |

Ste “The Daddy” Brady |
|
Ste has been working as a member of the stage crew that supports HAODS for many years and is responsible for the build and design of some brilliant sets and props as well as undertaking the role of stage manager and assistant stage manager in several shows. Ste is almost single handedly responsible for HTS in it’s present incarnation. When talking about “Oklahoma!” don’t mention the cart! |

Chris Alvey |
|
Chris is comparatively new to HTS as he’s only on his fifth build but along with Ste constructed the sets hired by Whitworth Amateurs for “Disco Inferno” (he’s very proud of his urinal). Chris also freelances as a sound engineer and has engineered the last five shows staged by HAODS though has now opted to join the crew on stage for future productions. Presently responsible for making something out of nothing and anything electronic. |

Joe Weetman |

The youngest member of HTS, Joe has proved invaluable with his attention to detail, quality work and the ability to ignore the banter thrown around in the unit. Joe was poached from the lighting crew and HTS welcome him into a life of tools, sawdust and stage blacks! (Joe is presently MIA if found return to Middleton Unit) |

Peter Davey |
|
Peter is a playing member of HAODS and a valuable asset to us, Peter was responsible for artwork on the set of “Oklahoma!” and has been building the set for Oliver as well as undertaking the ever daunting paintwork. Slightly worried that he turned up with a coffin the other night! Following a swift piece of work during Oliver! Peter has earned himself the nickname “Silver Phantom”, sounds like he’s the Rolls Royce of the team! |

Ryan Hayes |
|
Ryan was knocked off the youngest member position by Joe and took it very badly…. He rushed off into the forces. While only with us when time permits, his excellent construction skills more than make up for his inability to talk and work at the same time. As he’s not with us at the moment he’s being blamed for every error! Unlucky, “Private Dancer”! |

Graham Simpson |

Graham is the stage manager for HAODS and has been so for many shows (sometimes he even builds stuff!). If you need something thinking about then Graham’s your man! |

Katherine “The Mummy” Brady |
|
Another playing member of the HTS team, Katherine is our “go-to” person she sources props and materials by fair means or foul. Adding beauty, class and sophistication to our group and… sorry Kath I can’t read the rest of your writing. (that’s me in for a kicking then!). Fast as well as beautiful she has set the sprint record from stage centre to the prop room. |
